The Small Shan Briefcase
The Small Shan Briefcase is crafted from canvas and TPU coating, a medical-grade material known for its durability, dirt, water and oil resistance, environmental friendliness, recyclability, and excellent elasticity. If the bag becomes stained, wipe the stain gently with a wet tissue to maintain its original appearance.
Drawing inspiration from the book bags of wandering monks, we craft the lightweight yet textured bag body. The hardware buckle is modeled after book clasps, utilizing a jewelry-grade vacuum-electroplated manufacturing process that imparts a vintage feel. The buckles open and close in a second, offering convenience and security, and are engraved with patterns expressing Songmont’s natural philosophy. The Small Shan Briefcase is a convertible, multi-functional bag that is comfortable, sturdy, and lightweight. Featuring a spacious interior, it has a padded compartment that fits up to a 13″ MacBook. Additionally, a phone patch pocket on the back allows for easy access without opening the bag and a handle strap at the back enables secure attachment to a trolley case.
