DIOP Masks are non-medical grade. Please note that a DIOP mask should not be placed on young children under age 2, anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance. A DIOP mask is also not substitute for personal protective equipment (PPE) as specified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) or the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Machine wash cold, no bleach. Lay flat to dry. Do not machine dry.

Wash your hands before and after putting the mask on or taking it off.

Our youth masks are designed for children ages 4-12 year olds. Featuring a nose wire, ear loop design and a silicone adjuster, DIOP youth masks offer a snug and comfortable fit. It should fit comfortably but snugly against the side of the face and allow for breathing without restriction.

When putting the mask on, make sure the child’s hands are clean. If assisting the child, wash your hands as well. This applies to both putting the mask on and taking the mask off.

Please be advised that the CDC does not recommend that children under 2 years old wear facemasks. Additionally, our facemasks are designed for children over 4 due to small parts used to best construct this garment. Please see the warning below.

Our youth masks feature a silicone adjuster on our ear loop elastic to ensure a quality fit for children. We do not recommend that children under 4 wear our masks, as the silicone adjusters present a choking hazard.
