Cache
Protect your device with the slim, 0.25″ thick foam-padded Cache sleeve, designed to fit easily in many TOM BIHN backpacks, briefcases, and travel bags.
The Cache features a high-density foam core that offers superior protection from bumps and scratches, while maintaining a lightweight, low-profile design. The foam is laminated with a durable polyester knit exterior and a soft, brushed tricot interior for a premium feel and extra cushioning. This protective layer ensures your device stays safe without adding unnecessary bulk.
The sleeve’s #5 YKK zipper with plastic sliders prevents scratches and wraps around the sides for easy access in both portrait and landscape orientations. It’s designed to work seamlessly in both vertically-oriented and horizontally-oriented bags, making it versatile for different carrying setups.
The Cache includes rail loops and removable Gatekeeper Rail Clips, allowing it to securely attach to compatible TOM BIHN bags for quick and easy laptop removal while still inside the sleeve.
Depending of course on the size of Cache, it will securely clip in the following bags:
Cadet, Daylight Briefcase, and Empire Builder briefcases
Synapse 19, Synapse 25, and Brain Bag backpacks
Tri-Star, Western Flyer, Stowaway and Pilot travel bags
The Cache fits (but doesn’t clip) in the following bags:
Maker’s Bag, Parental Unit, Medium Cafe Bag, and Small Cafe Bag messenger bags
Daylight Backpack, Guide’s Pack and Hero’s Journey backpacks
Pop Tote and Swift tote bags
Aeronaut 45, Aeronaut 30, and Co-Pilot travel bags
And, of course, as long as it’ll fit, you can use the Cache in a non-TOM BIHN bag.
Here’s a handy list that displays the dimensions of every Cache. Have any questions about what will fit? emailus@tombihn.com and we’d be happy to help you choose a size.
The Cache: Checkpoint Friendly
The Cache meets TSA (Transportation Security Administration) “checkpoint friendly” guidelines for laptop bags, so you need not send your laptop through airport security X-ray machines unprotected. The Cache allows the TSA a clear, unobstructed X-ray view of your laptop in the bag. |
