Reaching waaaay back into the Steele Canvas archives, we are proud to offer the “Sib Sack”, based on a World War I U.S. Cavalry horse feed bag. Originally made by Steele in the early 1960s as a gift for Sib Lordan (wife of former Steele Canvas President “JJL” and mother of current owners John & Paul), the Sib Sack is a faithful recreation of the original WWI bag, right down to the leather bottom and traditional U.S. military stencil font. With a drawstring closure, brass hardware and handsome leather strap, the Sib Sack is perfect for town or country.
